What is Sicada online ordering?

It's a customer-facing online menu for your shop. You share one link; customers browse your products, add items and place a delivery order from their phone. The order lands in your Sicada POS as a real sale. Sicada also generates QR codes for dine-in table ordering. Online ordering is available on the Pro plan.

Can customers order from their phones?

Yes — the menu is built phone-first. It works in any modern browser with no app to install, and adapts to phone, tablet or desktop. It also opens in the customer's own language, Arabic right-to-left included.

Can customers order through a QR code?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for dine-in. Sicada creates a QR code for each of your tables that you can print. A guest scans it, orders from your menu, and the items go onto that table's tab in the POS. Staff add to it and check out as usual.

Do online orders go directly into the POS?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A placed order is created in Sicada immediately as a sale — tagged as an online order — and appears on the Deliveries board and in your sales history and analytics. There is no separate system to check.

Can customers choose pickup or delivery?

The online menu link takes delivery orders — the customer enters an address and drops a map pin. For in-person ordering, print the per-table QR codes for dine-in. A dedicated pickup option is not part of the online flow today.

Can I configure delivery zones?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In Settings you can add named delivery zones, each with its own fee. Once you have zones, customers pick theirs at checkout. If you don't set any up, a single flat delivery fee is used.

Can I charge delivery fees?

Accepted Answer

Yes — either one flat fee for every order, or a per-zone fee. The fee is added to the order total automatically based on what the customer selects. There is no distance-based pricing.

What customer information is collected?

Accepted Answer

For a delivery order: name, phone, delivery address (city, street, building, and optional apartment, floor and entrance), a map pin, the delivery zone if you use zones, and optional notes. No email, no account, no card details. Dine-in QR orders collect only the items and an optional note.

Can I manage online orders from Sicada?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Online orders show on the POS Deliveries board where you assign a driver and move each order through New, Preparing, Ready, Out for Delivery and Delivered. The Deliveries report adds counts, revenue, fees collected and a full filterable history.

Does Sicada process online card payments?

Accepted Answer

No. An online order is placed without any payment step — the customer pays when it arrives, in cash or by card on your own card terminal. Sicada records the order as a sale; it doesn't collect payment or process cards online.
